What do our Summer Adventure camps look like?

Our Programme

We are offering kids from 8-14 years old an exciting opportunity to experience a range of invigorating summer activities, get involved in exploring the alpine environment whilst developing key skills along the way on and off the mountain - including outdoor interactive language learning fun in English and/or Spanish!

Each day we will endeavour to ensure that the children make the most of the mountain environment and more importantly just have FUN!!

With a maximum ratio of 8 campers per camp leader, our week-long camps or day drop-ins are entirely in English, to cater for those that come from English speaking countries and also give a golden opportunity to those kids from other countries around the world, who are keen to improve their English language speaking skills.

Our Philosophy

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to discover more about the mountain environment, experiencing the beautiful nature and unique fun that the mountains have to offer, through all of our adrenaline-fuelled sports and activities here in Saas-Fee.

We seek to create a spirit of real adventure with carefully selected energetic sports and activities, whilst simultaneously helping children develop holistically in their communication, interpersonal and social skills, teamwork and personal confidence alongside making some true friends for life.

“My son had an awesome experience. The coaches are all extremely professional, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. Our son got excellent feedback on his skiing and how to improve and he grew hugely in confidence both on and off the piste. We were very impressed by the coaches and by the whole setup. He’s looking forward to training with them again soon. Thank you!”

Frequently
Asked
Questions

During summer, Saas-Fee experiences pleasant, sunny weather with daytime temperatures ranging from 15°C to 25°C (59°F to 77°F). Mornings and evenings can be cooler, so bring layers. Expect occasional rain showers, so pack waterproof clothing as well, but generally this part of the Alps has a rather sunny micro climate and so great, reliable conditions for these camps.
For summer camps in Saas-Fee, pack layered clothing, a waterproof jacket, comfortable pants/joggers and shorts, sports trainers and hiking boots, swimwear and essential accessories like a hat and cap, sunglasses and sunscreen (with strong SPF protection). A rucksack/backpack is strongly recommended as well.
The official camp language is English, ensuring easy and relaxed communication among campers. However, our camp leaders are multilingual, which allows them to assist and support campers who may be more comfortable in their native language including French, Spanish and German, enhancing the overall camp experience.
The camp is designed for children aged 9-12, but we can make exceptions on a case-by-case basis if necessary. We strive to accommodate each child's needs and ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all participants.
The accommodation provided is in a 3-star hotel, with shared rooms arranged by age and sex. This ensures a comfortable and safe environment for campers while promoting camaraderie and fostering connections among children of similar age groups.
The language learning element of the camp focuses on providing interactive English, French or Spanish learning. Participants will engage in fun, hands-on interactive activities designed to improve their language skills while also promoting cultural exchange and fostering friendships among campers.
While we recommend signing up for a full week to get the most out of the camp experience, we understand that this may not be suitable for everyone. Therefore, we also offer flexible day drop-in options to accommodate different needs and schedules, during both weeks.
The general timetable consists of full days of activities. Breakfast will be from 08.00 onwards each day and activities will begin at 09.30 and finish at 17.00. And then we will have fun evening games/activities after dinner from 19.30 - 21.00. (N.B. No camp on Saturday afternoons and Sunday until 16.00). Campers will be engaged in various indoor and outdoor activities, fun interactive language lessons, and group events throughout the day, ensuring a fun, enriching, and memorable experience.
Yes, rest assured that the children are well taken care of throughout the day, from morning until night. Our dedicated staff ensures that the kids are entertained, engaged in activities, and supervised at all times to provide a safe and enjoyable experience.
Most kids attending the camps come from diverse international backgrounds. This mix of cultures and languages creates a unique environment for learning, encouraging cultural exchange, and making lifelong friendships with campers from around the world.
